Right, and does the timing of space Christmas coincide with anything in particular, or does it work differently than space birthdays.

[It's George that ought to be doing the fretting, but he's likely forgot all about space Hanukkah. Won't he be surprised.]

George is rather fussy, what if he doesn't like one or the other, for whatever George reason?

I think he strays into something beyond 'a little fussy', but that's a very polite, sweet way t' say it, yeah. And very accommodating of you, giving him options for his bribe.

[He hefts the bundle of pillows from this room and nods toward the door.]

Well, come on, then, let's collect a few more.

[He repeats the word, a bit indignantly, as he drags the bundle out of the room for her.]

It's just a question, if it's not an insult, it ought t' be easy enough to answer. Easy, really?

Yeah, I-- know the question is easy, but you've not answered the question.

[A pause. No?]

Easy to bribe? Me? I was asking you to clarify that one.

All that someone really has to do is sit you in front of the telly with some Laurel and Hardy or the Marx Brothers and you'll basically agree to anything. That's how George got you to agree to renting the deep-cleaner for the second floor.

[Well, he can't actually finish that protest because really, she's right.]

That was one time, and--really, he was lucky, it was after a long day and I was distracted. Doesn't count.

[She gives him a little smile]

You're just asking, you're not doing anything. Pretty sure that goes against everything that a bribe actually is.

[He studies her a moment, with a little grin on his face, touched with some bemusement--and then he sighs, and scratches at his forehead, looking down at the floor.]
